antarctica vessel options

The only way to really experience the magnificent beauty of Antarctica is on a cruise around its icy waters. That's why we have a wide range of ships available to explore the White Continent.

One icebreaker features brute force, enabling it to get to places inaccessible to other ships, but the rest of our vessels fall into two categories: our Adventure ships are perfect for anyone wanting to follow in the footsteps of the great Antarctic explorers and to take part in an active exploration of the great, white landscape. With camping excursions, cross-country skiing and mountaineering expeditions available, our Adventure ships are ideal for the intrepid explorer.

Our Expedition ships are best suited to those looking to take in the breathtaking scenery in the greatest comfort possible, watching the stunning landscape all around as the ship passes electric blue icebergs and vast glaciers.

However you want to experience the Antarctic, we have a ship to suit you, each one providing a unique and comfortable way to explore this incredible region.

This icebreaker's greatest assets are its onboard helicopters and colossal ice crushing power, which mean that it can reach places inaccessible to other craft. This includes the remarkable Snow Hill Island, home to a large number of emperor penguins. The vessel holds 108 passengers.
