brazil iguassu falls
The Iguassu Falls are one of our planet's natural wonders. Located on the border between Brazil and Argentina, the largest cluster of waterfalls in the world fall more than 73m over hard granite rock.
Subtropical jungle provides a stunning backdrop to the waterfalls, which are made up of an impressive 275 separate cascades. Make your way through the network of walkways where you can experience first-hand the deafening noise, surrounded by the rainbows that form across the canyon as the sunlight hits the plunging water. Nature-lovers should walk through the nearby jungle, where you can catch a glimpse of a variety of birds and butterflies, and animals such as coatis and capuchin monkeys. A variety of activities are available, such as trekking, boat safaris, or (for the more adventurous) white water rafting. But if you really want to push the boat out in style, you could even fly above this spectacular scene in your own private helicopter. Das Cataratas *****
