In September, we had the pleasure of welcoming a distinguished group of marketing and procurement department heads from across Southeast Europe, invited by dm-Drogeriemarkt for their annual training event in Bulgaria. Together we embarked on a private Discover Sofia walking tour, expertly curated by EXCEDO Travel.
The group, representing multiple countries, enjoyed a fascinating two-hour journey through the heart of Bulgaria’s capital, during which we explored Sofia’s historic layers — from ancient Roman and Byzantine influences to its vibrant modern urban life. Along the way, participants engaged in conversation about the city’s transformation over the centuries, and reflected on how historical context, cultural evolution and contemporary dynamism converge in Sofia.
