Excedo Attends ITB Berlin as Exhibitor for the First Time

Between 5 -7 March 2024 the world of travel came together in Berlin for the largest international Travel and Tourism fair.

The world’s most important conference in the travel industry offered three days of keynotes, panel discussions, best practice examples, expert interviews, and awards on groundbreaking topics such as travel technology, marketing & sales, future travel, MICE, sustainability, destination management, hospitality, social responsibility, business travel, future work, and much more.

Excedo Travel Showcases Bulgaria’s Potential as an Adventure Travel Destination

The ITB Convention also placed special focus on Adventure & Outdoor Travel and Responsible Tourism this year, which are at the core of our activities. As part of the Bulgaria presence on the fair, we were able to showcase the potential of our small and beautiful country for Outdoor and Eco Tourism and to introduce the variety of activities we include in our Tailor-Made Programs.

Furthermore, we had the opportunity for a quick sit-down with the Bulgarian Minister of Tourism, Ms. Zaritsa Dinkova, to discuss why Bulgaria is still not recognized as an adventure travel hot-spot and what can be done to change this.
