Excedo Travel, a Sofia-based business tourism company, successfully organized the cultural program for the Mackrell International Annual Business Meeting for Europe, Middle East, and Africa, hosted by Stankov, Todorov, Hinkov & Spasov from September 27 to 29, 2024. The event brought together nearly 80 professionals from 30 countries in Sofia.
Excedo Travel’s program featured a Discover Social Tour for all conference participants, offering an immersive experience into Sofia’s rich cultural heritage.
Additionally, accompanying persons enjoyed a private tour of the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Boyana Church, renowned for its medieval frescoes. A highlight of the AP program was the wine tasting experience, which focused on Bulgaria’s indigenous grape varieties, including Mavrud, Rubin, Pamid, Karlovo Misket, and Dimyat. Guests sampled a curated selection of wines from world class Bulgarian wineries, such as Dragomir Estate, Zagreus Winery, and Chateau Copsa, showcasing the country’s esteemed winemaking traditions.
